From all the info here on the forum, bank 1 (passenger side I think) looks good. measuring blocks and I could only find inlet values. (2017 3.0T 38k miles) Where do you find the angles for the exhaust to add to the inlet values? I was in the engine module under adv. I was running a routine autoscan anyway so I decided to check out the timing chain readings. On my '06 A6 Avant with the 3.2L V6, my angle values on the driver's side, which is the most problematic side, have been steady, and add up to ~-4.0 with 104K miles on it.You guys got me curious. ![]() For the V6 engines, you need to add the angles for the exhaust to the inlet values on each bank to determine if the tensioner and/or chain are excessively worn on that bank.
